On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, Musikmesse (1 to 4 April 2020) is set to open a new, central attraction for the acoustic-guitar community with presentations by numerous renowned companies from home and abroad at the ‘Acoustic Village’ in Hall 3.1. In addition to the product presentations, there will be a lounge, sound cabins and a separate meeting room for business discussions in a tranquil atmosphere.

At the Acoustic Village, companies have the opportunity to make presentations together with their industry peers in an optimum setting – and with less effort thanks to prefabricated complete stands in an attractive setting. The concept has been given a warm reception by the sector and the brands that have already announced their participation include, among others, AER Music, Art & Lutherie, Flight Ukulele, Francisco Esteve, Godin Guitars, Juan Hernandez, Karl Höfner, La Patrie Guitars, Lakewood Guitars, Norman Guitars, Seagull Guitars, Simon & Patrick and Stevens Custom Guitars.

“We are delighted that numerous renowned manufacturers have chosen to use the coming anniversary edition of Musikmesse to make presentations on this special community platform. At the Acoustic Village, companies can reach their target group in a perfectly focused way, in an ideal setting for the exchange of information between retailers, musicians and companies”, says Wolfgang Weyand, Musikmesse & Festival Director.

“Lakewood has been exhibiting regularly at Musikmesse for many years and many contacts and friendships have emerged at this event. The new concept enables us to make a joint, potent presentation with other important brands, and to benefit greatly with lower costs and relatively few personnel”, says Martin Seeliger, CEO of Lakewood and co-initiator of the Acoustic Village. The Acoustic Village is located in the immediate vicinity of ‘Circle Stage 3.1’, which brings highlight events for acoustic instruments, such as workshops, masterclasses, lectures and product demonstrations, into the exhibition halls. Acoustic Village exhibitors have the opportunity to participate with their endorsers and product specialists on the Circle Stage. Also nearby will be the ‘Guitar Boutique Village’ where small manufacturers can present their limited-edition instruments.

Additionally, numerous manufacturers of acoustic guitars, plucked string instruments and accessories will have individual exhibition stands in Hall 3.1. They include Admira Guitars, Alhambra, APC, Aquila Corde, Dowina, Enrique Keller, Florinett Tonewood, Galli Strings, Guitarras Paco Castillo, Guitarres Camps, Mari Strings and Ritter Bags.
